Legalization through the ministry and the embassy or consulate, for countries outside the Apostille Convention.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a certified translation cost?
It depends on the document type, length, language pair, the certification needed and the deadline. Send us a scan or photo and we reply with an exact quote, free of charge.
Do I need to come to an office?
Usually not. Most work starts from a scan or photo. When originals are needed — for an apostille or a legalization, for example — we explain how to send them or arrange collection.
What is the difference between an apostille and consular legalization?
An apostille is a single certificate used between countries that are party to the 1961 Hague Convention. If the destination country is not a party, the document must be legalized through the foreign affairs ministry and the embassy or consulate. We check which one applies to your case.
Can you help if I live outside Cape Verde?
Yes. We regularly obtain, translate and legalize Cape Verdean documents for people living in Portugal, the United States, France, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Italy and elsewhere.
How long does it take?
Simple translations are often ready within a few working days. Apostilles, legalizations and document requests depend on the issuing offices; your quote always states a realistic deadline.
